2. Lack of Knowledge. Not knowing your true strength and throwing in the towel from a shear lack of knowledge. We have resources all around us and truly knowing them makes a world of difference. One of the most powerful resources we have is the Internet which leveled the playing field for businesses and entrepreneurs alike. The one we lack is time. Why throw in time? Most businesses and entrepreneurs do not factor this into their decision making equations. It is important because in the business realm, time is money, literally.
3. Unanswered Questions. “Not asking the questions they know they need to.” The question unasked is the most important question you have. Sure enough, this saying has made it around the world 10 times over, however entrepreneurs fail to ask these questions. The root of it, you may ask? “FEAR” and/or “PRIDE” which equals “FOOLISH”. They would even mistake intuition to wait that an unanswered question gives us for fear and jump anyway, believing themselves to be brave. The response after, I knew I should not have done that. This has sank many ships and worse in some cases.
4. Know Your Product(s). There is nothing worse than having a conversation with someone who does not truly know their product. A professional who knows the pit holes, has the ability to protect their client(s) against them, and in some cases protect their client(s) from themselves. There is nothing better than speaking with a professional who truly knows their product. A consumer only knows good and bad, they do not factor in character. In fact they associate character with the way you conduct your business. Business is Business!
A Resource. Your options are there. Our communities are only as strong as the businesses we have in them.
